You might be wondering…
“Why is she writing about this?”
To be honest, I want to share my personal walk with the Lord—authentic, real, and raw.
During my season of unemployment, I had the idea to start a vlog called “Living For Him Series.”
But… you know… I’m much more comfortable with writing. So why not turn it into a blog instead?
My prayer is that when someone comes across this, you’ll be encouraged to trust God more—especially in circumstances you can’t control.
My visa is set to expire on April 25, 2026—my birthday. What a day that would be, right?
Of course, I had the option to renew my contract. But God had other plans.
On February 6, 2026, I received my first confirmation from the Lord. I asked Him whether I should renew my contract, and He led me to the story of Abraham. God called Abraham to leave his relatives and go to the land He promised him (Genesis 12:1–3).
Through this, God made it clear: I would not remain in my current company. I was being led to move in alignment with His will.
Fast forward to February 18, 2026—I informed HR that I would not be renewing my contract. My boss didn’t take it well. Then on March 5, 2026, I was asked to take my vacation leave and leave the company immediately.
Then God gently reminded me: don’t chase opportunities just because they look good and abundant on the outside—like when Lot chose the land near Sodom and Gomorrah, unaware of its destruction. Instead, be like Abraham—walking in righteousness and obedience, staying close to God, trusting Him even when the land looks barren (Genesis 13:10–18).
It wasn’t part of my plan. I had intended to render a one-month notice until April 21, 2026.
But again… God had other plans.
I was reminded of His Word:
“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” — Proverbs 19:21
And from that moment on, my faith was truly tested.
To be continued…
